Job Summary:

The position will focus primarily on developing financial analytics for the business and, over the long-term, to assist in leading strategic initiatives. It will also be involved in the financial planning and analysis for the business.  The position will work closely with the existing FP&S team, the partner group, as well as the accounting team and other groups within the firm, to carry out these responsibilities. This person will serve as an integral part of strengthening the financial and strategic capabilities, thereby improving business performance.

Responsibilities:

Develop and clearly communicate business, financial and strategic analyses and recommendations across the business

Evaluate existing business and strategize around new lines of business alongside senior leadership

Work with senior leadership to develop the five-year business plan, inclusive of a complex financial model and valuation analysis

Oversee core financial planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, planning, and other management deliverables

Build strong relationships and interact extensively with executive leadership and accounting staff

Create and analyze financial plans and forecasts, clearly presenting key issues and trends, and conduct in depth business performance and risk/opportunity analyses

Skills:

Keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting

Strong interpersonal and communication skills experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, Board or other outside partners

Deep knowledge and practical experience in modeling, forecasting and analysis

Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance professionals and managers

Expert or in-depth working knowledge of Excel is required

Outstanding analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in an unstructured, entrepreneurial environment

Confident, articulate and inspiring individual who brings a high level of intellectual rigor and innovation
