Financial Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts

  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards

  • Maintain customer focus by ensuring the customer was behind business decisions and activities in meeting both their needs as well as organizational needs

  • Build trust by interacting in a way that gives others confidence in my intentions and those of the organization through open communication, integrity, and support

  • Maintains open lines of communication

  • Plans and organizes work effectively and ensures its completion

  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking

  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support

  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews

  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements

  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting

  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools

  • Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models

  • Demonstrate sound decision making by identifying and understanding issues, problems and opportunities

  • Demonstrates team behavior and promotes a team-oriented environment

  • Actively participates in Company projects


 


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Education: Bachelor&rsquos degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Economics with 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical skills, data gathering skills, detail-oriented and highly organized

  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills

  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with MS Office products with advanced level knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills comfortable interacting with executive level management
