Job Summary:
As an account manager, you will develop new business as well as farm existing business with companies primarily in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This takes creative networking, organized prospecting ability, strong relationship building and adept needs based requirements gathering. The goal is to exceed clients' expectations by easing their hiring burden and becoming a trusted partner for them and their business.


Responsibilities:


- Develop and grow your own client base by marketing our services for contract, contract to hire, and/or direct hire staffing solutions.
- Utilizing our CRM tool, create and develop prospect list/database as well as an effective prospecting plan via networking, Linked In contacts, job postings, etc.
- Market to clients via telephone as well as in-person.
- Call on prospective clients to develop/establish relationships with a goal of meeting in person to learn the organizational structure, team players, culture and sales information for the company and the opportunity, as well as establishing a fee agreement/MSA and acquiring job orders for our team to work.
- Work with the hiring managers to qualify the job orders by specific role requirements and responsibilities within the team/company including required skills/technologies, compensation and sales pitch for the overall opportunity.
- Cross-sell with other divisions to further market the Southwest Search brand.
- Participate in local trade association and networking events to solidify Southwest Search's presence in the local business community.
- Present the clients opportunities to your SWS recruiting team, making sure they are armed with sales information about the company AND the opportunity to enable them to find and recruit the best candidates for your clients.
- Review potential candidates from Recruiters for possible submission.
- Create a personal email candidate submittal to your client with an Executive Summary and formatted resume provided by the recruiter.
- Contact the client for feedback on the submitted candidate/s.
- Coordinate the interview request with the SWS Recruiter and the client.
- Create an email prep with client information and job description for candidate interview.
- Coordinate a prep call with the SWS Recruiter to resell the opportunity and prep for the client side of the interview.
- Debrief client in detail after each interview.
- Present offers with the Recruiter to candidates at the appropriate time.
- Work with Recruiters to help them understand relevant technologies and define search strings and potential candidate sources.
- Provide leads to Recruiters for potential similar companies to source.
- Participate in/lead weekly team meetings.
- Meet and exceed weekly business development goals.


Job Requirements:


- 2+ years of business to business development, account management, and/or working in an IT related field is required.
- Must have a strong desire to build a career in business development by using proven closing skills and the ability to build client relationships.
- Ability to multi-task and persevere in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a sense of urgency.
- Must have a proven track record of success and be a competitive, self-motivated individual.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Proven honesty and integrity.
