Cost Accountant
Cost Accountant
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Applies principles of cost accounting to conduct studies providing detailed cost information.
2.Plans study and collects data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material, purchases, inventory and labor.
3.Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided to determine effects on costs.
4.Analyzes actual manufacturing costs comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
Skills and Knowledge:
1. Detail oriented, analytical and accurate.
2.Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
3.Highly skilled in the use of Word, Excel and People Soft accounting systems.
4.working knowledge of manufacturing operations and basic ERP concepts.
Requirements:
1.Bachelor's degree in Accounting
2.3+ years Accounting experience in a Manufacturing environment
Financial Analyst
Major duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conducts special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure and control.
2.Provides interpretation of financial policies, governmental legislation, accounting theory or customer financial regulations and implementing requirements.
3.Analyzes financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
4.Directs preparation of studies, reports, and analysis in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, government requirements, statistical reports, cash flow projections and business forecasts.
5.Oversees all company required Sarbanes-Oxley auditing.
Skills and Knowledge:
1. Ability to apply corporate financial policy, legislation and accounting theory independently as required.
2.Detailed oriented, analytical and accurate.
3.Strong public presentation skills.
4.Highly skilled in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and People Soft accounting systems.
5.Working knowledge of manufacturing operations and basic ERP concepts.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting
2.CPA certification required plus 2-3 years public accounting experience
3.Experience in a Manufacturing environment a plus |
