The overall responsibility of the position is to interpret and analyze financial data from the Americas plants and to ensure all required reporting regarding productivity, material savings, costs and value engineering savings are reconciled with the financial statements. The position will prepare financial analysis for the Operations Directors to ensure that informed decisions can be made based on accurate information.
SCOPE:
Monthly the position will report all the KBMs for the RCW Operations and ensure that they reconcile to the P&L. Analysis then needs to be prepared to explain any differences. Further on an ad-hoc basis there will be many different projects for which analysis will need to be prepared such as make or buy, product transitions and footprint rationalization.
WORK PERFORMED:
Preparation of KBMs each month and analysis of complex manufacturing issues. The person will be expected to work closely with the VC Controller and the VC Director of Operations. The position will rely heavily on the Plant Controllers and other Operational staff at the plants.
